Why you should buy your ticket on Lenny.
Highlights
Revisit the life and work of Pablo Picasso in the birthplace of the world-famous artist. Discover his works, family memories, library and even a reconstruction of a 19th-century studio.
Picasso's birthplace has been an official heritage site since 1983. It was built in 1861 and Picasso was born here in 1881. Picasso lived in Malaga until he was 10 years old and the city had a profound effect on his memories, his personality and his work.
Tickets to the Picasso Birthplace Museum offer you a thematic tour that highlights this family, social and cultural link between Pablo Picasso and Malaga. In nine rooms you can retrace Picasso's formative years and get an idea of the family environment, including the reconstruction of his father's studio, where Picasso took his first steps as an artist, and rooms focused on different themes, including bullfighting, the Mediterranean and doves.
