Western Approaches Museum: Entry Ticket
Explore an underground bunker that helped win World War Two
Why you should buy your ticket on Lenny.
Highlights
Derby House was a major operations center during the Second World War. Where you once had to sign the Official Secrets Act to enter, now you just need a smartphone ticket! This labyrinthine bunker, once the nerve center of the war's defining Battle of the Atlantic, is exactly as it was in 1945. Now home to the Western Approaches Museum, it is a time capsule hidden beneath Liverpool city centre. See original documents, tools and maps used to scan the enemy, plus one of two surviving telephones that had a direct line to Churchill's War Rooms!
